Our first PSCA Hot Street race of the season started out great with a low ET qualifying position, won the first two rounds and with a nice holeshot lead in the semi finals an unlikely crankshaft failure ended the day.
Crew Chief Dan Bott Sr. watches Daniel "DR" Bott II lay down an 8.439 low ET qualifying position, it  was due largely to quick 1.182 60 ft time, the 60 ft times were nearly a full tenth quicker than other competitors.
The Las Vegas Race was the second PSCA race of the season and the first win. It was also the second time in a row the team landed the low ET qualifying spot. In the winners photo from left to right was the trophy gal, race series promoter Mel Roth, Daniel "DR" Bott II (front) Jim Kuntz (rear) our engine builder, Jesse Allen 1# crew member and Dan Bott Sr..
The May California Shootout once again netted us a #1 qualifying spot for a third in a row and a second Hot Street win in a row.In the winners circle photo are left to right: Dave Gerard representing our newest sponsor Pypes Performance Exhaust, Jesse Allen the best crew member any team could have, the shoe himself, Daniel "DR" Bott II, the trophy gal, Mel Roth the race promoter and crew chief Dan Bott Sr.
Here's the final Hot Street round at the California Shootout in May. All the Chevy's were eliminated and the only two Ford's entered went to the finals. In the finals DR ran an 8.493 @ 162.29, the only Hot Street car to run in the forties all weekend.
The Hot Street Semi Finals in Fontana May race was a familar site, it was Chevy big blocks galore until the final round. The Chevys put up a good fight, with each entry taking a shot at the tree, but DR Bott II has proven his starting line prowess many times and especially when needed..

The final round once again came down to a match between Adrian Duron. DR as you can see got a hole shot on Adrian and we posted a .05 quicker 60 ft time. The ET's were close with our 8.497 to his 8.502.
Happy faces in the winners circle at the July West Coast Shootout in Fontana, California. Lt to rt is Dan Bott Sr., crew chief, Jesse Allen # 1 crewman, Mel Roth Race Promoter, Daniel "DR" Bott II the driver and the PSCA trophy girl.
Here is out final round winning run at the Labor Day Nationals at the Las Vegas Strip, we ended up with a competition bye run because our competition got disqualified in the semi finals by not stopping at the scales. Never the less, we ran the low ET of the event for Hot Street going 8.539@162.51. This was our fourth win in a row and put us in a strong lead for the points standing.
Hot Track conditions didn't effect the AMP sponsored Mustang, while many of the competitors found it hit and mess with starting line traction our 60 ft times were consistant running 1.18 -1.21. Our quickest ET in the plus 100 degree weather was an 8.52. The Firebird race was number 6 of the 2008 PSCA series and our 5th straight win in a row.
